Characteristics of computer

Speed

A computer system is supposed to much faster than a human being. Electric pulses travel at incredible speeds and computer is electronics too. we are not talking about second or milliseconds.

The units of speed are microsecond,nanoseconds or even microseconds. It may consume hours, days, or years to perform any specifics task. Hence, computers is having incredible speed.

Security

The data and information that reside in the computer system are safe and secure. The computer system uses various technologies to prevent data from destroying, unauthorized access, or any unknown threats.

To assists security many things can be useful like apply passwords, Data encryption, Antivirus or other similar technique may useful. 

Storage

The human being store only those data and information which is worthy and very important. The rest of the data are forgotten. Human being store fewer data and for less time 

but the computer is capable to store a large amount of data for a long duration of time in compare human beings. The present generation, due to the advancement of technology to store massive

data in a computer requires very less physical space and store large information.

Automaton ( Automatic)

a computer is also an automation machine because this can perform easily automation relented task. When the programs are instructed to do any task, these instructions are transferred to the CPU one after another,  until it executes the last instruction which says STOP. This process helps in the automation of any task.  

 Accuracy

The computer can perform any kind of calculation with high accuracy. very few times(seldom) we may receive error or false result due to computer machine failure or technical problem.

But most of the errors are generated by humans rather than due to computer methodology. But according to computer even these result may be accurate. Hence, computing provides information and output with high accuracy 

Reliability

The computer is a machine and being a machine  completely different from the human nature. A computer doesn't suffer from the human traits of tiredness and lack of concentration related stuff.

It is capable to perform multiple task together for hours, days or even years without failure. This quality of computer makes this more reliable then human being.

Versatility

There is no doubt that the computer is capable to perform multiple tasks together error-free. This feature of computer leads to reduce the time and makes more productive. Humans are able to function only a single task at a time with full concentration and full attention.
